Part 1: Champagne & Whispers
The sun was just dipping behind the Santa Cruz Mountains when the limo pulled up outside a sleek townhouse in Willow Glen. Inside, Sabrina twirled in her white sash that read Bride Vibes Only, sipping from a rose-gold flute as her best friends hyped her up with loud cheers and glittery gift bags.
Tonight was her “last fling before the ring,” and they were going big.
The plan: a full limo tour through San Jose, Santa Clara, and Campbell, with stops at some of the South Bay’s most electric spots—Paper Plane for craft cocktails, LVL 44 for dancing, and maybe even Astra on the rooftop if the mood was right.
They piled into the stretch SUV limo, neon lights glowing overhead and a custom playlist bumping early 2000s throwbacks. Their driver, a charming pro named Eli, handed Sabrina a chilled bottle of sparkling rosé as the limo glided onto I-280.
“Next stop: everything unforgettable,” Talia shouted, raising her glass.
But even before they reached their first venue, things took a sharp twist.
Eli pulled up in front of Paper Plane, but the crowd outside wasn’t normal. There was a buzz, a red carpet, and a line of paparazzi… apparently, Paper Plane was hosting a tech launch afterparty. And one of Sabrina’s exes—a now-famous app developer—was rumored to be inside.
Talia turned to the group. “Do we skip it or make a scene?”
Sabrina grinned. “We make a scene.”
And just like that, the tone was set.
They weren’t just bar-hopping anymore—they were making history. And the night was just getting started.
